Frank Polson was born in Ville-Marie, Temiscamingue, in 1952 and is a member of the Algonquin Long Point First Nations community (Winneway, Temiscamingue). For the past seventeen years he has worked at developing his style in the medium of acrylics. Frank is a self-taught who produces works of unique beauty, in the Woodland style, which is relevant to today and in accordance with is Heritage. He has rekindled his memories of many pleasurable and educational seasons spent on the trap-line with his father and has tried captured those wonderful memories on canvas among the glorious sunsets and sounds and feelings on the wilderness’ days and nights. Frank Polson’s art have been sold all around the word and were exposed in many Canadian and European galleries.
